The paperback version of Resonance will probably come out next summer. Baen usually schedule the paperback to come out 12 to 24 months after the hardback. I will have to plant another thousand trees in supplication:)
Shift, the next novel, is with Baen awaiting a publication date - my money's on summer 2007 too.
I'm back working on another SF mystery, Hidden in Time. I started it in spring but wasn't happy with the narrative voice. Now I think I've found it and have junked the old opening and rewritten a new one. Much better, much tighter. The old chapter one was all over the place while this one jumps straight in and drags the reader with it.
Toni, at Baen, wants to see the synopsis and first three chapters in September so all appendages crossed.
And, finally, Nous Sommes Anglais - my true crime memoir with animals - has just been requested by an agent and is winging its way to New York.
So, a good month I think and looking forward to a productive August.
